The Library is located on the West end of the Borough on a triangular plot of land bounded by Somerset Street, and Mountain and West End Avenues. It is in the same building as Somerville's Borough Hall. The entrance to the Library is on West End Avenue.  A parking lot is located to the rear of the building on Mountain Avenue.  FREE on-street parking is also available on West End Avenue, located in front of the library and Somerset Street, located behind the parking lot, as well as behind the Somerville Senior citizen building on Mountain Avenue.

FROM MORRIS COUNTY AND POINTS NORTH:

Take I 287 South and bear right onto US 202 & 206 (Exit 17). Follow this to the Somerville Circle and enter the circle. Follow the circle to 28 East towards Somerville/Bound Brook. The first light that you come to is Mountain Avenue. The Library is across Mountain Avenue on the right.

FROM MIDDLESEX AND MONMOUTH COUNTIES:

Take I 287 North. After exit 13, bear left and enter Rte 22 West. Get into the extreme right lane and take the Grove Street, Somerville Exit which is the last exit before you reach Commons Way. Go over the overpass until you get to a Stop sign. Make a right onto Grove Street. Go through one light. At the second light, make a right onto High Street. Take High Street until end (Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and School will be facing you.) Make a left onto Mountain Avenue. The library is on the left side across the street from the first traffic light. Go straight through the traffic light and make a left into the parking lot.

FROM PRINCETON AREA:

Take Rte 27 to Rte 206 North. Follow 206 North for approximately 16 miles, until you get to Somerset Street in Somerville. Make a right onto Somerset Street. Go underneath the overpass until you get to the light. You may go straight through the light and park on the street, or make a left at the light to park in the library Parking Lot. From the light, the library (Borough Hall) Building is across the street and to your left.

Take Rte 78 EAST to Rte 287 South. Follow the above Directions from Morris County.
